I try to charge exact shipping or close to. With no handling fees (these are fees usually associated w/ gas to get it to the post office, supplies used to wrap up your sign safely, and the time that goes into wrapping and delivering to the post office ). I try to keep the cost down for my customers there for I don't charge a handling fee. The money you pay for shipping fees are exactly that.... for shipping and goes to the Post Office and not in my pocket.
If you'd like to find out how much it would cost to have a sign shipped to you. Here's how you do it.
1. Go to www.canadapost.ca
2. On the left hand side you'll see a column that says " I want to:" click on Calculate a rate
3. You will pick the appropriate selection from the right hand column "Small Business Rate"
4. The originating postal code is s0c 0l0
